Set up your first workspace

Create and configure your first Ravenna workspace, sign in with the invited email, and connect Slack so your team can start managing tickets.

A workspace is the home for one team’s requests. Everything else you set up in this track, channels, forms, knowledge, and agents, lives inside it.

You need an invitation to your Ravenna organization before you can start. If you do not have one yet, see before you start.

Step-by-step

1. Sign in to Ravenna

   Go to app.ravenna.ai and sign in with the email the Ravenna team invited to your organization. You can sign in with your email or your Google account.

   
2. Create the workspace

   Each team in your organization gets its own workspace to manage requests and connect chat channels. The first time you sign in, Ravenna prompts you to create one.

   

   Name it after the team, not the tool. “IT Operations” and “People Operations” tell everyone what belongs there. You can rename it later.

3. Connect Slack

   Click Connect and complete the Slack authorization. This installs Ravenna into your Slack workspace for the whole company, so you only do it once no matter how many Ravenna workspaces you end up with.

   

   Using Microsoft Teams instead? The rest of this track assumes Slack, but the same concepts apply. Set up the Teams app first and substitute Teams wherever Slack appears.
