Use these templates to announce Ravenna to your team. Copy any template and customize it with your company’s specific details and tone. Whichever one you pick, name every entry point people can use. Most rollouts announce the Slack channel and nothing else, and then the half of the company that does not live in Slack never files a request. Mention the request channel, DMing Ravenna, and the Portal if you have turned it on.

Benefits-driven

Emphasize the value Ravenna brings to team productivity.
We’re launching Ravenna as our new internal service desk! 🚀The challenge: Our support requests are scattered across DMs, random channels, and email threads. Good requests get lost, context disappears, and we waste time on repeat questions. The solution: Ravenna is a service desk that:
  • ✅ Captures requests from Slack, a DM, email, or the web portal
  • ✅ Provides AI-powered answers from our company docs and knowledge base
  • ✅ Organizes everything in trackable threads and dashboards
  • ✅ Lets approvers approve in one click, in Slack
  • ✅ Works for all teams
  • ✅ Keeps conversations visible to teammates who can help
Instead of sending an email and hoping for the best, you get organized support without leaving the tools you already use.Ready to try it? Look for the Ravenna app in your Slack sidebar, or open the portal at [link].Looking forward to faster, more organized support for everyone!

Casual team

For teams with a more informal communication style.
Hey everyone! We just got Ravenna, basically a smart service desk that lives in Slack. No more lost support requests! ✨Here’s what’s cool about it: Instead of your IT/HR/facilities requests disappearing into the void, Ravenna turns them into actual trackable tickets. It still feels like normal Slack conversations.Other neat stuff:
  • AI answers common questions instantly using our company docs
  • Everything stays organized in threads so context doesn’t get lost
  • Approvals happen in Slack with one click
  • There’s a web portal too, at [link], if you’d rather use a browser
  • Works with email if that’s your thing
Find it in your Slack sidebar as the “Ravenna” app, DM it for anything private, or just post in support channels like usual.

Pilot program

When introducing Ravenna as a test or pilot program.
🧪 Pilot program: Testing Ravenna for internal supportWe’re piloting Ravenna with our team for the next [timeframe]. It’s a service desk designed for how teams actually work. What Ravenna does:

Customization tips

When using these templates:
  1. Replace placeholders. Update [Department Name], [timeframe], [contact person], and [link].
  2. Name every entry point you have turned on. The request channel, DMing Ravenna, the portal, and the email address if you forward one. Leave out the ones you have not launched.
  3. Match your tone. Adjust language to fit your company culture.
  4. Add specifics. Use your actual channel names, such as #ask-it and #ask-hr.
  5. Choose timing. Consider your team’s communication patterns and busy periods.
  6. Follow up. Plan additional messages to maintain engagement and answer questions.
If your company runs on Microsoft Teams, replace the Slack references with your connected Teams channel. Teams support is in early access, and 1:1 chats with the Ravenna bot are not processed yet, so point people at the channel rather than at a DM.
