Sync Guru cards and collections into Ravenna knowledge folders, with auto-sync for new and updated cards and optional verified-only filtering.

Setup

1. Select Guru as your source

   When adding documents to a knowledge folder, select Guru from the available sources.

2. Provide credentials

   Enter your Guru connection details:

   • User email: The email address associated with your Guru user account
   • API token: A Guru API token generated from your account settings
3. Select collections and folders

   After connecting Guru, the knowledge source picker opens. Select one or more collections and/or folders to add to this folder. Cards inside the selected collections and folders are included automatically. You don’t need to select them individually.

   To change the selection later, reopen the picker from the knowledge folder and add or remove collections and folders. Removed selections stop syncing on the next run.

How it works

Generating an API token

To create a Guru API token:

1. Sign in to Guru and open your user settings.
2. Navigate to the API Access section.
3. Generate a new user API token.
4. Copy the token and paste it into Ravenna alongside your user email.

Keep your API token secure. Anyone with this token can access your Guru content.

What gets imported

For each collection or folder you select in the picker:

• All cards within the selected scope are imported.
• Card content keeps its structure: headings, lists, tables, code blocks, callouts, collapsibles, quotes and links.
• Images and attached files are imported as links back to Guru, where your team’s existing permissions apply.
• Folder organization is maintained inside Ravenna.
• A card that lives in more than one folder is imported once under each folder, so agents can find it from any of its locations.

Verified cards only

During setup, you can enable the Verified cards only option. When enabled, only cards with a verified status in Guru are synced. Cards without verified status are skipped entirely and do not appear in Ravenna.

When this option is disabled, all cards in the selected scope are synced regardless of verification status.

Managing imported content

After import:

• Archive specific cards to exclude them from agent responses.
• Archived cards are skipped during future syncs.

Auto-sync

When auto-sync is enabled, Guru content stays up-to-date:

• New cards added to the collection or folder are automatically imported.
• Card edits and updates sync to your knowledge base.
• Cards deleted from Guru are marked unavailable and excluded from agent responses.
