> Connect Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM to Ravenna with an OAuth client ID and secret, your UEM server URL, and your data center region.

> Connect to Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM using OAuth client credentials

This guide walks you through creating an OAuth client in Workspace ONE UEM and connecting it to Ravenna.

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

* A Workspace ONE UEM SaaS tenant
* Admin access to the UEM console with permission to manage OAuth clients
* Organization Admin access in Ravenna
* Your UEM server URL, for example `https://as1234.awmdm.com`

> [!NOTE]
>
> Omnissa is organization-scoped. Each Ravenna organization can connect one Omnissa instance.

## Setup guide

### Create an OAuth client

**1. Open OAuth client management**

In the Workspace ONE UEM console, go to **Groups & Settings > Configurations > OAuth Client Management**.

**2. Add a client**

Create a new OAuth client for Ravenna. Assign it a role that can read device inventory.

**3. Copy the credentials**

Copy the **Client ID** and **Client Secret**. You need both to connect Ravenna.

### Add integration

**1. Navigate to integrations**

1. Go to **Settings > Integrations**
2. Find **Omnissa** in the Device Management section

**2. Select Omnissa**

Click **Connect** on the Omnissa integration card

**3. Configure Omnissa credentials**

Provide the following information:

**OAuth Client ID** `string` *required*

The client ID from **Groups & Settings > Configurations > OAuth Client Management** in the UEM console.

**OAuth Client Secret** `string` *required*

The client secret for the same OAuth client.

**Server URL** `string` *required*

The base URL of your Workspace ONE UEM server, for example `https://as1234.awmdm.com`.

**Region** `string` *required* (default: NA)

The data center region of your Workspace ONE UEM SaaS tenant. The region determines which OAuth token URL Ravenna uses to authenticate.

| Region | Covers | Token URL |
| - | - | - |
| `NA` | United States / Canada | `https://na.uemauth.workspaceone.com/connect/token` |
| `EMEA` | United Kingdom / Germany | `https://emea.uemauth.workspaceone.com/connect/token` |
| `APAC` | Asia Pacific (India, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong) | `https://apac.uemauth.workspaceone.com/connect/token` |
| `UAT` | UAT environments | `https://uat.uemauth.workspaceone.com/connect/token` |

**4. Complete setup**

Click **Connect** to complete the integration. Ravenna:

1. Requests an OAuth access token from the token URL for your region
2. Tests connectivity to your UEM server

## Troubleshooting

> [accordion] Failed to obtain OAuth access token
>
> **Cause**: The client ID, client secret, or region is incorrect
>
> **Solution**:
>
> * Verify the client ID and secret were copied correctly (no extra spaces or characters)
> * Confirm the OAuth client is still active in **OAuth Client Management**
> * Check that the selected region matches your tenant's data center

> [accordion] Failed to validate Omnissa API connection
>
> **Cause**: Ravenna cannot reach the UEM server URL
>
> **Solution**:
>
> * Verify the server URL is correct, for example `https://as1234.awmdm.com`
> * Ensure the URL includes the protocol (`https://`)
> * Confirm the OAuth client's role can access the UEM REST API

> [accordion] Devices missing for a user
>
> **Cause**: Ravenna cannot match the device to a Ravenna user
>
> **Solution**:
>
> * Verify the device is enrolled in Workspace ONE UEM
> * Check that the device's user email in UEM matches the person's email in Ravenna
